Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Aftershow — a product of Isley Legacy LLC — collects, why, and who else processes it. Aftershow is solo-operated, and the guiding rule is simple: your content is yours, and we only handle it to give you the Service.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and Google account identifier.
• Your episodes — the audio and video you upload, or that we fetch from an RSS feed you connect.
• Generated content and edits — the transcripts, show notes, posts, clips, and other outputs we create for you, and the edits you make (which train your voice profile).
• Billing information — handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, but we never see or store your card details.
• Basic technical data — the app keeps a login session and standard server logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
• Product analytics— we use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand how the Service is used and where visitors come from; we don’t run advertising trackers on the app and we don’t sell your data.

How we use it

• to run the pipeline — transcribe, analyze, and generate your kit;
• to learn your writing voice from your edits, for your account only;
• to manage your subscription and sign you in;
• to keep the Service working, secure, and debuggable, and to reply when you contact us.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do nottrain shared or public AI models on your episodes. Your voice profile is derived only from your own edits and is never used for anyone else’s account.

Who processes your data

To provide the Service, your content and account data are handled by a small set of processors, each for a specific job:

• Cloudflare R2 — stores your uploaded and rendered files.
• Deepgram — transcribes your episodes.
• Anthropic — generates written outputs and clip analysis from your transcript.
• Stripe — processes payments and stores your card details (we don’t).
• Resend — delivers account email such as sign-in links.
• Google — verifies your identity if you choose Google sign-in.
• PostHog — privacy-respecting product analytics (usage and attribution).

Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We share your data with them only as needed to run Aftershow.

Where your data is stored

Your files are stored with Cloudflare R2, and the processors above may handle data in the United States or other countries where they operate.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, episodes, and exports for as long as your account is active, so your work stays available to you. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your episodes or exports.

Your choices

You can update your account details and cancel your subscription from inside the app. To ask what we hold about you, or to request deletion, email info@getaftershow.com.

Security

Your files are stored privately, tied to your account, and served over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your content and limit access to it.

Children

Aftershow isn’t intended for children, and isn’t directed at them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know by email where appropriate.
